Anahata Codes

The Law of Attraction of Energy Medicine. Everything around us vibrates at its own unique frequency. Anahata Codes are numerical keys to unlocking and providing access to the innate intelligence of those vibrations (crystals, totem animals, essential oils, trees, meridians, and more). They deliver that access directly to your energy field through your Heart Chakra (Anahata), which regulates the vibrations on all layers for highest good. When an Anahata Code is installed, the healing qualities of these frequencies act on your body to shift and create balance on all levels - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. The result is a healing response.* There is no force with this process. These frequencies can only ever be used for your highest good, so if it is not in your highest good to activate a code or any part of its definition, it will simply not be activated. *A note about healing responses: I am not the healer, you are. I do not determine or control what the outcome of your sessions will be. Most commonly, the results you experience are the results you desire. However, if what you desire is not truly for your highest good, for whatever reason, then the results may not be what you expect. Whatever the result, trust that your higher self knows what you need and how best to heal. *The Anahata Codes are combined with Emotion/Body Code in the Rapid Release Sessions

Emotion/Body Code

The Emotion Code is an energy healing technique that helps us to identify and literally release trapped emotions, which are harmful emotional energies from negative past events. Trapped emotions can cause depression and anxiety; they can block people from love and happiness and make them feel disconnected from others. Because trapped emotions are made of energy, just like the rest of the body, they exert an influence on the physical tissues and can cause acute pain and even cancer. Releasing trapped emotions makes conditions right for the body to heal - so physical and emotional difficulties often disappear or become much more manageable. The Body Code expands on The Emotion Code to identify imbalances in six major categories (Energies, Circuits & Systems, Toxins, Pathogens, Misalignments, Nutrition & Lifestyle). Energetic imbalances are identified and released in the same way as trapped emotions. This approach can be used to help any project - physical, mental, emotional. These modalities are combined with the Anahata Codes in the Rapid Release sessions.

Medical Massage Therapy

This is a clinical approach to massage with the goal of relieving pain and correcting postural imbalances. This type of massage is done over the clothing, so it is recommended that you were loose fitting athletic attire.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio-Philosophy is an ancient healing art used to balance the breath and heal on all levels. It introduces us to ourselves and teaches us that we have the innate ability to harmonize and balance body, mind, and spirit. Our bodies contain several energy pathways, similar to acupuncture meridians, as well as 26 energy points on each side of the body known as Safety Energy Locks (SELs). When these pathways become blocked by the stress of our daily lives, the energy cannot flow properly and becomes stuck at the SELs. That stuck energy manifests as physical/emotional symptoms or projects. Sessions generally last about one hour while the receiver lies face-up, fully clothed, on a massage table. After "listening" to the energy pulses in the wrists, the practitioner's hands are used as "jumper cables," gently holding combinations of the 26 SELs in different sequences to unlock the energy flow. Jin Shin Jyutsu harmonizes the breath, which is essential to life. All disharmony is caused by the inability to either inhale or exhale fully. Because this is such a gentle art which does not require any physical tissue manipulation, it is considered safe for everyone. *Can be done in-person or using distance healing. *Now also offering guided-self help sessions online via Zoom!

Reiki is a Japanese healing tradition which involves the practitioner lightly laying their hands on the receiver, or in some cases, hovering their hands over the body with no touch involved. Reiki is Divine Energy. The practitioner does not use their own energy, but instead channels this universal energy for highest good of the receiver. This spiritually guided life force energy helps the body to regain balance and promote healing by aligning the chakras. Reiki was rediscovered by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s and works by opening and aligning the chakras so energy can flow more readily through the body.

Distance Healing

Several energy healing modalities can be performed from a distance, as effectively as if the session were happening in person. These include Anahata Codes, Body/Emotion Code, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and Reiki. These modalities help to harmonize emotional and mental projects, but also physical projects like aches and pains, headaches, respiratory or digestive complaints. This is a great alternative for those who can't make it into the office, or for anyone anywhere who doesn't have a practitioner working nearby. It is also beneficial for oncology patients or others who are immuno-compromised or otherwise restricted to home or hospital. How does distance healing work? Think of it this way, electricity, cell phones, radio, TV and internet all use energy frequencies we can’t see in order to function. All of these have to be tuned to the particular frequency they operate at in order to work. Distance Healing works the same way. Energy is tuned to the person it is being sent to and will flow through the energy currents that exist naturally all around us, just like a phone or wifi signal. Because distance is no obstacle, this healing energy can be sent anywhere in the world, with results as effective as in-person sessions.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is a system of specific massage techniques developed in the 1930s by Dr Stanley Lief. This holistic approach toward healing uses recognized physiological laws and associated principles to relieve pain and normalize muscle tone. NMT stimulates the body's natural ability to heal itself while enhancing the function of joints and muscles and allowing the body to return to a state of homeostasis. Neuromuscular Therapy is a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle. These areas of strain are called tender or trigger points and are the cause of muscular pain symptoms.

Oncology Services

Oncology Massage is a gentler massage for those who have been diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing treatment, as well as cancer survivors. Massage in this case is designed for quiet relaxation. Each session is individualized, based on your diagnosis and treatment history. What makes Oncology Massage different? Cancer treatments like chemotherapy and radiation can have significant impacts on the body which need to be taken into account. Deep pressure or any kind of muscle manipulation is contraindicated, so these massages consist of very light pressure to provide comfort and stress relief. If lymphedema is a risk, or if it is already present, there are additional precautions to consider. Jin Shin Jyutsu for Oncology Patients Because Jin Shin Jyutsu is a non-invasive modality which only uses a light touch, it does not have the same contraindications. JSJ has been shown to be effective in reducing stress, pain, and anxiety in cancer patients. For more information, view this Research Summary from the UK Markey Cancer Center

Reflexology is a holistic science that uses reflex areas in the feet and hands as a mini-map of the body. Pressure is applied to these reflexes and nerve zones to help the various body systems, and the body as a whole, achieve homeostasis. The use of essential oils provides an added benefit. What are the benefits of Reflexology?

  • Improves nerve and blood supply
  • Detoxifies the body
  • Improves digestive function
  • Balances hormones and can ease symptoms of menopause
  • Eases arthritis pain
  • Reduces stress and tension
  • Aids in allergy relief
  • Eases headaches/migraines
  • Reduces anxiety and depression
  • Helps with Plantar Fasciitis
*This service is currently offered as an optional 30-minute add-on to Massage Therapy sessions

TMJ Massage (Jaw Pain)

Symptoms of TMJ Dysfunction include, but are not limited to:

  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Scalp/Hair tender to the touch
  • Pain behind the eyes, sensitivity to light
  • Limited mouth opening with possible deviation
  • Jaw locks open or shut
  • Jaw deviates to the side on opening
  • Teeth clenching or grinding (Bruxism)
  • Chronic sore throat, frequent coughing or clearing throat
  • Jaw clicking, popping, or grating
  • Pain in jaw muscles
  • Ear ringing, hissing, or buzzing (Tinnitus)
  • Clogged, itchy ears
  • Dizziness, Vertigo
  • Muscle aches in shoulders, neck, and back
  • Pain and numbness in arms and fingers
Specifically targeting the muscles of mastication (chewing muscles) can relieve tension and spasms. Correcting the muscular imbalance can help reduce these symptoms while addressing and reversing the underlying causes. TMJ Massage is recommended for anyone suffering from the above symptoms. It is also recommended before and after any major dental procedure to relax and align the muscles, which can help speed recovery time and improve results.
